Burger King says, 'aloha' to Spam ( o _ O ) Something Posing As Meat. Do you like Spam?

In the Army, if it wasn't canned C Rations, it was Spam this and Spam that. One of their favorite things to do was chop up Spam and put it in white gravy. Then they would put it either on biscuits or toast for breakfast and on mashed potatoes for lunch. We called it SOS (I can't tell you what the initials stand for because there might be kids reading this.). We were considered fortunate if there were green scrambled eggs mixed in with the Spam and not the gravy mess (Don't ask why the eggs were green.). I think that is where the great writer Dr. Seuss got his idea for his book "Green Eggs and Ham". It got to where I liked the canned C Rations better than Spam. At least the C Rations varied what was in the cans. It was even better when the Army changed to the freeze-dried add hot water kind of meals that people now buy to take hiking and camping. No Spam in them!!
