Prom hair and nails?

I got a long red dress for prom. It has a satin criss-cross open back. I'm wearing silver shoes, and silver accessories. My problem is with my hair and nails. I have short hair( to my chin) and I have no idea what I'm going to do with it. I was thinking about curling it and straightening my bangs or curling it with my bangs pinned back or having it straight with my bangs pulled back. I can't decide. Also, my nails are a problem. I want acrylics but don't know what to do for the design or color. My prom is June 6th!!! Help please!! Pictures would be extremely useful as well as answers...
