Atheists: how can we explain the fallacies of religion to theists?

It seems that no matter how well I logically articulate the fallacies and immoralities of the bible to Christians, they will come up with some absurd response completely blind to what I've just told them. Is there no hope for them? Have they been brainwashed to the point where they'll never see the truth? Is there hope for the next generation?
