Recently, I have bought a chain that makes me feel y. Is this a normal thing? Why do you think it happens?

I am a male and ordinarily I am not into jewelry of any kind. On a lark, I bought a cheap neck chain. Immediately upon placing it onto neck, my ego went into overdrive and I felt my harmones kick into jet propulsion. Now I think every female I see will want me. I know this fantasy, but it is nice to think I am noticed. What made the change?
