Why are CHURCHES tax exempt when they CONTRIBUTE to POLITICAL CAMPAIGNS?!?

Come on ... I'm so SICK of this! These churches make HUGE contributions to the Republicans. Hey, that's fine ... but how can you get a tax exemption for that?! Church and state are not separate in America , but as ONE and only on the RIGHT...
