Why do people use the fact that they think my life is perfect to take their anger out on me?

You sound like you are a nice person. . .and a sensitive one. I think that's the way to be. I try to be helpful to others. . .I think that's the way I want to be. I have found that some people take nice for stupid. We both know that isn't so. Helping someone and listening to their problems is a nice thing to do but when they disrespect you, you don't do them any favors by sticking around for that. You have to let people know that they are stepping over "the" line. When people disrespect you, you have to let them know their actions are inappropriate and don't be afraid to open you mouth and say so. And the only other thing I can think of is that when people look at you and you seem so nice and happy so they ume life is easy for you. Everyone has problems and has to learn to deal with them. But it's very easy to ume a happy looking person has it all going for them. It's the old the gr is always greener across the fence. And that guy must be an idiot. The first time he said something bad, you should have stood up for yourself. He sounds like a guy with a lot of problems and one of them is abusing others. You let him, so he thought you were his type of girl. You can very nicely put an end to all of it. Stand up for yourself. You aren't obligated to take a bunch of stuff off of people just because you smile. Many times people push people around because they think they can. You need to learn just how to handle these people nicely. Nice people deserve respect.. .but you have to put your foot down when they step over the line.
